1. Overview

BeART World JAPAN works with independent creators and selected partners to provide authentic Japanese cultural works, including artworks, crafts, and commissioned pieces.

Because many works are handmade, one-of-a-kind, limited edition, or custom-created, shipping, returns, and refunds may vary depending on the nature of the work.

2. Shipping

Shipping timelines vary based on:

• Creator location

• Production schedules

• Commission requirements

• Export procedures

• Destination country

Estimated shipping timelines will be communicated whenever possible.

International shipments may be subject to customs duties, taxes, import fees, and other charges imposed by local authorities. These charges are generally the responsibility of the purchaser unless otherwise stated.

3. Delivery

Risk of loss or damage transfers to the purchaser upon confirmed delivery by the shipping provider.

Customers should inspect shipments promptly upon arrival.

Any shipping damage should be reported within seven (2) days of delivery and accompanied by supporting photographs whenever possible.

4. Custom Commissions

Custom commissions, made-to-order works, and personalized projects are generally non-refundable once production has begun.

Specific commission terms may be outlined in separate written agreements.

5. Returns

Due to the nature of authentic cultural works, returns are generally accepted only when:

• The item arrives damaged during shipping;

• The item received differs substantially from the confirmed order; or

• Return rights are required under applicable law.

Requests must be submitted within fourteen (14) days of delivery.

Return authorization may be required before any item is shipped back.

6. Refunds

Approved refunds will generally be processed to the original payment method.

Shipping costs, customs duties, taxes, and related fees may not be refundable unless required by law.

Refund processing times may vary depending on the payment provider.

7. Damaged Items

If a shipment arrives damaged, please contact BeART World JAPAN promptly and provide:

• Order information

• Description of damage

• Photographs of the item and packaging

We will work with the customer, creator, and shipping provider to determine an appropriate resolution.
