William Reed

William Reed is a master calligrapher with over 50 years of experience in Shodo, Japanese Brush Calligraphy. He has a 10th-dan in Shodo, and is Vice-Chairman of the Japan Calligraphy Education Association. He has won numerous awards in national competitions and exhibits regularly at galleries in Ginza.

Yuko Nagasawa

Born in Kawasaki in 1970, Ms. Yuko Nagasawa has spent over three decades mastering the art of sculpture, earning her place as a distinguished member of the Japan Artists Association and working as an independent artist. Currently based in the picturesque town of Wassamu, Hokkaido, Ms. Nagasawa’s work captures the intersection of human emotion, nature’s raw beauty, and the timeless philosophy of memory.

Noriaki Baba 

In the heart of Kamiwakacho, surrounded by the untamed wilderness of Hokkaido, Noriaki Baba has spent six decades coaxing stories from the wood of his homeland. To call him an artisan is to touch only the surface of his legacy; his hands are instruments of memory, shaping creations that transcend their humble origins. Every carving carries a whisper of the forest, a reminder that even in the obvious, mysteries remain untold.

Junichi Sato

Nestled in the serene expanse of Wassamu Town, Hokkaido—a place blanketed by snow in winter and bursting with life in spring—Mr. Sato crafts furniture that embodies the rhythm of the land he calls home. With nearly 30 years of experience as a furniture craftsman, Mr. Sato’s journey is rooted in a deep connection to nature and a commitment to creating designs that endure.

Tousen Watanabe

Tousen Watanabe, a master seal carver, carries on a near 2,000-year-old artistic tradition in Japan. A graduate of the prestigious Yokohama Seal Vocational Training School, Watanabe San's expertise is nationally recognized with his 1st class seal engraving technician certification. A master of Kanji calligraphy, Watanabe San infuses each seal with artistic depth. 

Shiomi Lua

Shiomi Lua is a passionate young woman from snowy Sapporo, driven by a burning desire to bring anime characters to life. She has dedicated her life to this unique Japanese art form and is now embarking on a new journey: co-creating a series aimed at inspiring young generations worldwide to discover their superpowers.

Hino Nanyu

Hino Nanyu, an artist, breathes life into forgotten whispers of the past. Ancient characters, the foundation of Japanese writing, became his artistic muse.
