Provenance: Ensuring Authenticity and Value
At BeART World JAPAN, we believe in providing our customers with art and crafts that come with a rich and verified history.
1
Direct Collaboration with Artists & Artisans
We closely collaborate with our artists and artisans to gather detailed information about each piece. This includes insights into the creation process, materials used, the inspiration behind the work, and any significant events associated with the piece. Additionally, we collect and include statements and biographies from the creators, providing further context and background about them and their work.
2
Certificate of Authenticity
Each piece comes with a Certificate of Authenticity signed by the artist or artisan. This certificate includes a unique serial number and a QR code linking to the online verification page, adding an extra layer of security and trust.
3
Detailed Record Keeping
For every artwork, we maintain comprehensive records that include the Title of the Artwork, Artist/Artisan Name, Date of Creation, Description of the Artwork, Materials and Techniques Used, Dimensions, and Edition (if applicable). Also, whenever applicable, we document the exhibition history of the artwork. These records are preserved both digitally and in hard copy to ensure longevity and accessibility.
